Attribute Value

The currently selected attribute for each section is displayed at the upper right corner of the selection area. In addition, when your cursor moves over a selector button, the attribute value of that button is displayed. For example, in the image above, the cursor is over the button that represents the Top position of a cubical map.

Position Selector

A cubical map has six positions or sides. Each position can have a different HDRI file assigned to it that will provide lighting information to a rendered scene in TurboCAD. To select a position for editing simply press the selector button that represents the view you would like to edit. After doing so, information specific to that position will be loaded into the Details Panel.

Style Selector

The Style Selector lets you choose an available style for the light source in the HDRI file.
The available options are:
  • Octagonal Softbox
  • Rectangular Softbox
  • Square Softbox
  • Strip (Narrow) Softbox
  • Umbrella (Diffuse)
  • Lightbox

Configuration Selector

The Configuration Selector lets you choose the arrangement and number of light sources in the HDRI file.
The available options are:
  • Single
  • Double Horizontal
  • Double Vertical
  • Triple Horizontal
  • Triple Diagonal
  • Array

Tone Selector

The Tone Selector lets you choose the tone or color of the light generated by the HDRI file.
The available options are:
  • Cool
  • Neutral
  • Warm
  • Sepia
  • Soft Green
  • Sunset

Exposure Value Offset Selector

The Exposure Value Offset Selector decides the relative brightness of the light sources in one position of the cubical map to that of another. When setting up your cubical maps, the brightest light sources will be those with a -0 EV setting. These are designed to be used as primary lighting sources. The remaining values will provide less light  to a rendered scene by -1 EV steps. These are best used as secondary lighting and fill.
 
The selectable range is -0 EV to -3 EV.
