DESCRIPTION
The antique cannon is a pretty remarkable device when one considers the carpentry and blacksmith skills that are required to construct and continually maintain its structure when dealing with the forces imposed upon it.
This seemingly simple model is actually quite complex and its construction requires some definite forethought as will be seen while working through the tutorial. The amount of hardware required to hold the cannon together and to anchor it to the ship, where it would likely be found, is enough to tax TurboCAD and requires special attention to the onboard ACIS settings.
Within the tutorial the reader will be led through each keystroke to produce all components of the antique cannon that are illustrated on the cover of the tutorial. Aside from learning how to draw in TurboCAD, the user will learn how to set up the drawing and how to insert standard lighting. The reader will learn how to establish a render scene environment and the reader will learn how to render their drawing and save it in a high resolution image format.
