DESCRIPTION

Recently, I sent out a survey asking my tutorial customers how they felt about the tutorial materials I provide. Was it meeting their expectations? Did they like the format? Was it a good value for the cost? And, of course, if there were any particular fields or topics that they would like to see new tutorials. The responses clearly showed that the materials were meeting or surpassing expectations, were of great value and that the format was ideal . There were a few suggestions for new material and of those suggestions the greatest number asked for more in the fields of carpentry and cabinet making. It is with this in mind that I have chosen to pen TurboCAD Pro V18.1 - Octagonal Gazebo as the first post-questionnaire tutorial. The tutorial is based, for the most part, on free gazebo plans that I found on the internet.

I hope that you enjoy working through the tutorial.

Best regards,
Don Cheke

Within the tutorial the reader will be led through each keystroke to produce all 'wood' components of the gazebo that is illustrated on the cover of the tutorial. Aside from learning how to draw in TurboCAD, the user will learn how to insert standard lighting and how to utilize render scene luminance. The reader will learn how to establish a render scene environment and the reader will learn how to render their drawing and save it in a high resolution image format. The reader will also learn about many of the functions found within paper space and will create two pages of detailed drawings.
